Georgiadis responds to Panos Routsi criticism: “I’m tired of hearing constant lies”

“I denounced the communication management of Mr. Routsi’s health situation by certain parties” stated among other things Adonis Georgiadis, who returned to address the hunger strike that continues for the 22nd day by Panos Routsi. It is recalled that his primary demand, the exhumation of his son’s remains, Denis Routsi, who lost his life in the deadly Tempi train disaster, was accepted, however Panos Routsi is demanding DNA testing and toxicological examinations.

The Health Minister turned against those attempting to “manipulate” public opinion and provoke “emotion” for the hunger striker Panos Routsi.

“Because I’m tired of constantly hearing lies about me, I heard Mr. Ioannou on @skaigr television saying that I insulted Mr. Routsi because I said that when you’re in a health crisis you don’t get transferred to a hotel but to a Hospital… after my statement, Mr. Routsi said he didn’t go to the Hotel due to illness but because of the march and I have no reason to doubt him.

However, I denounced the communication management of Mr. Routsi’s health by certain parties, because although Mr. Routsi went that day because of the march, while according to his statement he felt fine health-wise, nevertheless a series of media outlets @MegaTvOfficial and all the websites, conveyed the image that he was transferred to the Hospital due to…illness…so some people tried to mislead Public Opinion to show a sick Routsi and provoke emotion, because all the media didn’t have the same title and the same impression on their own, but because certain people conveyed the news to them this way… so games are being played here and we must resist the manipulation and their deceitful schemes.
