Symeon Kedikoglou has announced his decision to join ELAS, the party led by Alexis Tsipras. In a brief video, the former SYRIZA MP made his membership official, stating that he wants to embark alongside voters on “the journey to our own Ithaca.”
Kedikoglou was among the first SYRIZA figures to openly announce his departure for Tsipras’ new party back in April. His formal exit from the party’s Koumoundourou headquarters was officially confirmed in July.
