Embassy Counselor First Class Panagiotis Giannakoulias officially assumes his new duties as spokesperson for the Greek Foreign Ministry starting today, Thursday, August 13, following a decision by Foreign Minister Giorgos Gerapetritis.

Mr. Giannakoulias takes over from Lana Zochiou, who has completed her tenure as head of the Ministry’s Information and Press Service.
Foreign Minister Giorgos Gerapetritis extended his warm appreciation to the outgoing spokesperson for her work and invaluable contribution to the ministry’s communications division, while wishing her every success in the next chapter of her diplomatic career.
