A fatal road accident on Friday (21/8) in Kato Achaia left one person dead and another man injured. According to the Fire Service, a fire broke out in a private vehicle following the collision.

Fatal road accident in Kato Achaia leaves one dead
During firefighting operations, emergency crews discovered a body inside the burning vehicle. The identity of the deceased has not yet been confirmed. At the same time, an injured man was rescued from a second vehicle involved in the crash.
Both the body and the injured man were handed over to ambulance crews from the National Emergency Medical Service (EKAB).
A large emergency response was deployed at the scene, with 16 firefighters and four vehicles taking part in the operation. The exact circumstances that led to the deadly crash remain under investigation.
