The Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) has disbursed subsidies totaling €22,010,560.47 to 4,882 agricultural producers, under the framework of de minimis state aid, in application of Commission Regulation (EU) 1408/2013 as currently in force (Joint Ministerial Decision 199430/2026). The subsidy is granted at a rate of 100% to professional farmers registered in the Registry of Farmers and Agricultural Holdings, and at 50% for all other eligible beneficiaries, with a maximum ceiling of €50,000 per business over a three-year period.

Which producers are eligible for the subsidies
The financial support is granted to assist:
- Rice producers across the entire country who suffered losses due to adverse weather conditions in 2025, with a subsidy of €70 per stremma (0.1 hectare).
- Producers of tree crops and other cultivations that recorded a production decline of more than 30% due to the 2021 frost, in the designated Regional Units, with amounts varying by crop type.
- Producers in the Regional Unit of Ioannina with irrigated agricultural plots, due to water shortage conditions experienced in 2025.
The disbursement of funds is carried out through offsetting against any confirmed outstanding debts, with the remaining balance transferred directly to the beneficiaries’ IBAN accounts. For 683 beneficiaries who did not meet the required conditions — such as holding a valid tax clearance certificate or having an updated IBAN registered on the myAADE platform — the payment process will be completed by the relevant authorities. The entire procedure, from application submission to fund disbursement, is handled digitally through AADE’s myBusinessSupport platform.
