Israel’s ambassador to Athens, Noam Katz, hosted participants of the “Cybersecurity Operation Defender” initiative yesterday at his residence, as part of trilateral cooperation between Greece, Cyprus and Israel for an international skills development program in the field of cybersecurity.

Israel’s ambassador to Athens, Noam Katz, hosted participants of the “Cybersecurity Operation Defender” initiative yesterday at his residence. This is an international skills upgrade program in the cybersecurity sector, implemented within the framework of trilateral cooperation between Greece, Cyprus and Israel.
“Young people from Israel, Greece and Cyprus came together for a unique regional initiative in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, which included cyberattack simulations, AI workshops and hands-on training sessions,” he stated in a post on “X”.
“I am proud to see the growing trilateral cooperation between Israel, Greece and Cyprus expanding into the fields of innovation and cybersecurity. Investing in the next generation of cyber professionals means investing in the future resilience of our region,” he emphasized.
