HELLENiQ ENERGY, responding to the exceptional conditions that have taken shape in the fuel market, has decided to extend its emergency discount for the entirety of September to all fuel retail companies on the two core motor fuels: unleaded 95-octane petrol and diesel. The measure, which was announced and implemented on July 14, applies exclusively to fuels intended for consumption in the domestic market and represents the most effective and direct means of achieving an across-the-board reduction in prices.
Specifically, the company will continue to offer an emergency discount to all retail fuel companies — 7.95 cents per litre excluding VAT on the price of unleaded 95-octane petrol, and 4.05 cents per litre excluding VAT on the price of diesel. The emergency discount will continue to appear as a separate line item on invoices and will remain in effect through September 30, 2026.
