Shocking claims have emerged from the 42-year-old suspect in the dead infant case in Kypseli, Athens, as he allegedly claimed the baby was “possessed by Satan.” According to MEG, the suspect reportedly stated: “The baby was crying constantly and my wife was falling apart. They switched our baby at the maternity hospital and gave us another one that was possessed by Satan — and the moment it died, our home found peace.” It is worth noting that the forensic examination revealed the infant had sustained multiple stab wounds to the back.

Kypseli case: Criminal charges filed against all three suspects
All three individuals arrested in connection with the horrific Kypseli case appeared before a prosecutor at the former Evelpidon courthouse. The suspects — a 42-year-old father, a 28-year-old German mother, and a 26-year-old Afghan national — faced criminal charges on two counts: a felony charge for drug trafficking and a misdemeanor charge for failing to report the discovery of a deceased person. All three were referred to an examining magistrate and were given until Wednesday to submit their formal testimonies.
“One of the boys didn’t seem to belong to them”
The owner of the Airbnb apartment also spoke to Live News, offering his account of events: “The property manager saved three children. In my eyes, he’s a hero — even though he’s still very young, not even 30. If it weren’t for him, we might never have realized what was happening. He helped me navigate through a lot of difficulties and problems,” he said.
“The property is managed by a company, and I receive updates through the company’s representative. About five to ten days ago, a warning had already been issued to the tenants because they were leaving the place in a filthy state. That’s when we decided not to renew their rental agreement. They had been staying in the apartment for roughly a month. We knew a couple with two children was living there. When we discovered there was actually a third child present, the property manager managed to stall them and called the police. One of the boys didn’t appear to be their own child. He went out into the street and encountered the DIAS motorcycle police unit,” the property owner added.
