The KYSEA meeting concluded early Monday afternoon (18/05) under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis. During the session, Foreign Minister Giorgos Gerapetritis briefed attendees on the latest developments in the Eastern Mediterranean, Iran, and the Middle East.
The meeting also focused on defense procurement matters for the armed forces and the launch of implementation of the National Strategy for Unmanned Vehicles 2026-2030. According to sources, the green light was given for the two Bergamini frigates that had recently passed through the parliamentary special committee.
