A far-right opposition MP from Poland accused Israel of committing “genocide” in the Middle East and displayed an Israeli flag with a Nazi swastika during a session of the Polish parliament.
Poland: Berkowicz accuses Israel
Konrad Berkowicz of Konfederacja accused Israel of using phosphorus bombs in the Middle East and causing the deaths of “tens of thousands of women and children.” It should be noted that Human Rights Watch has accused Israel of illegally using white phosphorus in residential areas in Lebanon.

“Israel is committing before our eyes a genocide of particular cruelty,” Berkowicz stated, before comparing Israel to a German “new Third Reich” and raising an Israeli flag with a swastika. This action provoked fierce reactions, with MPs outraged at the parliamentarian, while the Speaker of Parliament deemed the display of a swastika “unjustified.” The incident prompted an immediate response from the US embassy in Poland.

“SHAME ON YOU, SHAME ON YOU, SHAME ON YOU! Perhaps you too have noticed that we Jews are no longer intimidated so easily, isn’t that right? We defend ourselves with all our strength, without apologizing,” wrote Tom Rose in a post on X. “We stand by our friends and know how to fight and defeat our enemies!!!” he added. Rose participated in the “March of the Living” in memory of Holocaust victims.
