The Cabinet will convene tomorrow, Monday, under Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, with an agenda focused on pressing issues ahead of the Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF). The session, set to begin at 11:30 a.m. at Maximos Mansion, will open with a briefing by Education Minister Sofia Zacharaki on preparations and innovations ahead of the new school and academic year.
Minister of State Akis Skertsos and Deputy Finance Minister Nikos Papathanasis will present a progress report on the completion of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan “Greece 2.0.” Papathanasis will also present a new bill on the management and strengthening of development programs.
Additionally, Development Minister Takis Theodorikakos will brief the Cabinet on the implementation of the National Social Agreement on price reductions. The agreement is set to take effect on August 31, 2026, and provides for average price cuts of 5% to 20% on up to 1,500 products.
