A police investigation in Western Attica has uncovered a drug trafficking operation involving purchases, communications, and drug deliveries. At the center of the case is a 41-year-old man who, according to police, had transformed his home in the Haidari area into a drug stash house. Of particular interest are the conversations a well-known singer allegedly had with the “mastermind” of the ring.
Athens drug ring: The revealing wiretap conversations
In the following intercepted phone calls, the singer allegedly speaks with the “mastermind” of the drug network:

Ring mastermind: Yeah.
Singer: Bring us something good right now. Something good! Really good, though! Come on!

Ring mastermind: Yeah, yeah… We haven’t done anything yet. Once we do, you’ll do what you need to do. Come on. Bye.
Singer: Didn’t we make a deal together for the summer? Where am I supposed to get it from? Somewhere else?
Ring mastermind: Just relax now!
Singer: I’m not relaxing, no.
Ring mastermind: Come on.

Singer: I don’t know, it was really bitter, man. It wasn’t like the other stuff you used to bring before.

The Greek police official statement
“Officers from the Sub-Directorate for Special Operational Actions of the Crime Investigation and Detection Directorate of Attica/G.A.D.A. arrested three individuals yesterday afternoon, August 27, in an area of Attica. The suspects are charged with possession and trafficking of narcotic substances. The case file also includes two additional individuals who are being sought, as well as 18 unidentified persons.
The arrests were preceded by the successful processing of intelligence by officers from the Immediate Drug Enforcement Unit. Further analysis of this information revealed that a 41-year-old man had been engaged — at least since July 2026 — in the procurement, storage, processing, and distribution of significant quantities of narcotics across areas of Western Attica. Specifically, he was sourcing and distributing quantities of cannabis and cocaine, while also having access to other substances including MDMA, LSD, and various pills, which he obtained from a psychologist.
For storage purposes, the 41-year-old used his home in the Haidari area as a stash house, and possessed specialized knowledge regarding the processing of narcotics. Transactions took place either at his residence or at nearby locations, which he would travel to using his own vehicle. Deliveries were also made via a courier company in packaged parcels.
The 41-year-old maintained a steady client base and took self-protective measures to avoid detection, using a “ghost phone” connection while also employing coded terminology and slang expressions. As established by the investigation, from early July to August 23, 2026, the 41-year-old conducted a total of 90 drug transactions, generating €3,800.
Yesterday afternoon, the 41-year-old and the psychologist were located and arrested in separate areas of Athens. Body searches yielded a small quantity of cannabis, €445 in cash, and a mobile phone. Additionally, a 45-year-old man was located and arrested under the flagrante delicto procedure, having purchased narcotic substances from the 41-year-old.
Searches conducted at residences and an office, with the assistance of a police dog, resulted in the seizure of the following items in total:
- 834.9 grams of cannabis,
- 131.6 grams of processed “chocolate-type” cannabis,
- 522.5 grams of ketamine,
- 122.7 grams of cocaine,
- 56.2 grams of MDMA,
- 39 grams of ecstasy,
- 180 pharmaceutical pills,
- 100 cannabis-infused candies,
- 103 grams of the narcotic substance 3-MMC,
- €15,565 in cash,
- 6 precision scales,
- 2 vehicles,
- 1 motorcycle,
- numerous handwritten notes.
The arrested individuals were brought before the competent prosecutorial authority.”
