“They are Gypsies — there is nothing in the world that would make me choose them”
The leader of the “Voice of Reason” party was a guest on Giorgos Lagios’ show, The Love Debate by Lagios, where she was invited to answer a series of personal questions.
When the host — referencing recent events involving Vasilis Paiteri — asked Afroditi Latinopoulou: “You are on an island and everyone there is Roma, and you are forced to choose one of them. What characteristic would make you pick someone?”, she responded: “They are Gypsies. There is no characteristic and nothing in the world that would make me choose them. I would rather leave the island and swim with the sharks. In other words, I would kill myself.”

Additionally, when asked whether she would date a younger man, she answered clearly: “I would not be with a younger man.” She also addressed the public image that has formed around her, stating: “I have not built my career and do not build my career on being attractive. I also dislike being called a ‘kitten’.”
