A new GPO poll conducted for the newspaper “Parapolitika” shows a rise for New Democracy, with the ruling party reaching 29.4% in the vote estimation, strengthening its position by one percentage point. K. Mitsotakis, with 33%, continues to command the highest level of trust among Greek citizens for the role of prime minister, followed by Al. Tsipras at 24.9%, M. Karystianou at 15.5%, and N. Androulakis at 14.9%.
According to the poll, ELAS — the party led by Alexis Tsipras — is also on an upward trajectory, holding steady in second place while increasing its share by 1.3 percentage points. PASOK, on the other hand, continues its downward trend. The party of Maria Karystianou is also in retreat, while Kyriakos Velopoulos’ Greek Solution is recovering strength and competing for third place. Meanwhile, 58.4% of citizens say they want political change, compared to 38.9% who prefer stability, while the prospect of a new party being founded by Antonis Samaras continues to register limited momentum.
