The President of the Republic, Konstantinos Tasoulas, attended the swearing-in ceremony of the new Ensigns of the Hellenic Navy and the Hellenic Coast Guard at the Hellenic Naval Academy, where he presented swords to the newly commissioned male and female Officers of the class of 2026.

The President of the Republic was received by Deputy Minister of National Defence Athanasios Davakis, representing the Prime Minister, Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff General Dimitrios Choupis, Chief of the Hellenic Navy General Staff Vice Admiral Dimitrios-Eleftherios Kataras HN, Chief of the Hellenic Air Force General Staff Air Vice Marshal Dimosthenis Grigoriadis, Chief of the Hellenic Coast Guard Vice Admiral Christos Kontorouchas, Commandant of the Hellenic Naval Academy Rear Admiral Ioannis Retsas HN, and Member of Parliament Dionysis Hatzidakis, representing the Hellenic Parliament.
