Local rain and showers are expected on Friday, October 16, before conditions improve over the weekend, according to the weather forecast by meteorologist Sakis Arnaoutoglou. According to his forecast, showers will intensify in the morning, primarily in northern Thrace and Chalkidiki, with rainfall also possible in Kastellorizo. Improvement is expected from the afternoon onward, however a new round of rainfall is forecast in the evening, stretching from Thessaly all the way to Attica.

Similarly, Sunday, October 18 is expected to follow the same pattern, with clouds mainly in the southern regions of the country — conditions set to remain largely unchanged into Monday and Tuesday. However, a secondary scenario also raises the possibility of Saharan dust transport affecting the western parts of the country.
A new temporary deterioration in weather is on the way

Once again, phenomena will be more frequent and intense in the eastern regions, the south, and across the Aegean Sea. Transient snowfall is also expected in mountainous inland areas. Temperatures will drop temporarily, while locally strong winds will blow across the Aegean and the northern Ionian Sea.
