A goat trapped in the raging wildfire in Boeotia, which ultimately reached Porto Germeno, was reportedly saved by the commander of the Mandra Police Station, who was actively deployed on the front lines of the blaze. The Hellenic Police shared the heartwarming photo on social media, with the caption reading: “The commander of the Mandra Police Station and her colleagues are constantly in the field alongside citizens, offering help wherever it is needed.” The photo shows a police officer carrying a young goat to safety, away from the encroaching flames.
