A total of 59 agricultural and forest wildfires broke out across the country over the past 24 hours. According to the Fire Service, 45 of these were contained immediately at their initial stage, while firefighting forces are still battling the remaining 14 active fronts.

Investigations into causes and public safety recommendations
Local investigative offices, along with units from the Arson Crimes Response Directorate, are currently investigating the causes behind the outbreak of the fires.
The Fire Service is urging all citizens to exercise extreme caution and, in the event of a wildfire, to strictly follow the instructions of the relevant authorities for their own safety.
