A Nebraska resident in the United States was saved at the last moment when a car crashed at high speed into a gas station next to him. The vehicle’s driver, as well as the man who nearly got hit, sustained minor injuries.

According to local authorities and American media outlets, the car was traveling at least 65 mph (104 km/h) in an area where the speed limit was 40 mph (65 km/h), while the driver faces charges for reckless driving and driving with an expired license.

The security camera footage, released by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, shows the local resident cleaning his truck’s windshield at a gas station before he starts running after realizing that a car is coming straight at him.
He was slightly injured in the leg, while his truck also sustained damage, as did a light pole.
The car’s driver was transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries, according to authorities.
