An emergency alert was issued on Tuesday evening (09/06), around 8:00 PM, following the fall of a young woman from the 6th floor of an apartment building on Athens Street 2, in central Athens. According to initial reports and evidence from the police investigation, this appears to be a likely suicide attempt. The woman, a Greek national approximately 20 years old, fell from the surrounding area of a commercial space.
Despite the severity of the incident, the young woman was found alive. Police forces and an ambulance from the National Center for Emergency Care rushed to the scene, taking her and transporting her to KAT Hospital for medical treatment.
