The extension of the ceasefire between the US and Iran for approximately two months did not prevent Scott Bessent from warning Iran about the tolls and transit fees it is attempting to impose on the Strait of Hormuz. The US Treasury Secretary emphasized the following: “The United States Government will not tolerate any effort to impose a tolling system in the Strait of Hormuz.
