According to data from the Bank of Greece (BoG) regarding the net borrowing requirements of central government on a cash basis, revenues presented by the ordinary budget in the first four months of 2026 reached €22.451 billion, compared to €22.232 billion in the corresponding period of 2025. Specifically, as highlighted by the Bank of Greece for the January-April 2026 period, the ordinary budget showed a surplus of €1.013 million, compared to a surplus of €939 million in the corresponding period of 2025. Regarding ordinary budget expenditures, these amounted to €21.6 billion, compared to €19.7 billion in the January-April 2025 period.
