Referring to Operation Aspides, the Prime Minister noted that despite its importance, it does not have the support of all European states. He emphasized, however, that this is a mission with clearly defined geographical limits, clarifying that it does not cover the Strait of Hormuz, a critical maritime area for international shipping and global trade.
Kyriakos Mitsotakis made clear that Greece is not participating in any way in the military operations currently underway in Iran and the broader Middle East region.
