A serious incident occurred on Friday afternoon (05/12) in the village of Stafidokampos in the Municipality of Andravida Kyllini when a jeep-type vehicle was found overturned in a canal. According to ilialive.gr, authorities rushed to the scene and managed to lift the vehicle, in which no person was found. Police investigations are ongoing to determine what happened.

According to the same source, a search is currently being conducted in the canal as authorities examine the possibility that the person or persons who were in the car were ejected from it. At the same time, the scenario that the driver threw the vehicle into the canal and abandoned it is also being examined. According to information, foreign agricultural workers likely fell into the canal with the jeep and abandoned it without notifying authorities.
