New details surrounding the death of Giorgos Mazonakis are coming to light, following the release of the first recorded conversation between the singer and hypnotherapist Nasos Komianós. According to Star’s reporting, this was their very first interaction, which — according to those close to the hypnotherapist — took place at a café in the Psychiko neighborhood of Athens. As revealed, Giorgos Mazonakis was reportedly seeking some form of treatment, and had mentioned that he was unable to travel abroad to address the issue troubling him. It is worth noting that the investigation into the beloved artist’s death remains ongoing, with his final moments now coming under intense scrutiny. Meanwhile, the hypnotherapist is reportedly at his home in Kifissia, demanding that the public defamation against him cease, while the possibility of him facing legal consequences has not been ruled out.

The conversation between Giorgos Mazonakis and the hypnotherapist in Psychiko
According to Star’s exclusive report, the conversation began with Giorgos Mazonakis mentioning that he had come across the hypnotherapist on social media and had heard about hypnotherapy.
“I’ve seen you on social media. I’ve heard about hypnotherapy, I watched some videos. I wanted to meet you in person so we could talk…”, the singer reportedly said.
The singer was said to have been struggling with certain fears, and the hypnotherapist reportedly attempted to help him. According to the dialogue revealed by Star, the hypnotherapist allegedly told him:
“We can’t take your full history here at a café, Giorgos. You need to look into the medical side of things first in order to get proper help. Go abroad…”
Giorgos Mazonakis reportedly responded: “I can’t go abroad, and here in Greece everyone knows who I am…”
The hypnotherapist then asked: “Haven’t you done anything about this over all these years?”
To which the singer replied: “No, I’ve only done some hydrotherapy sessions in Kolonaki at ….. [name partially redacted]”
At that point, according to the dialogue, the hypnotherapist reportedly said: “I actually work with her — small world, Giorgos!”
And Giorgos Mazonakis replied: “Great, could you give her a call so I can speak with her?”
To which the hypnotherapist responded: “Hold on, I’ll call her right now…”
The hypnotherapist’s lawyer responds
The hypnotherapist’s attorney, Yannis Glykas, addressed the meeting in question during an appearance on Star’s midday news bulletin on Wednesday (23/09). When asked whether his client had been overly persistent or pushy during that encounter, the lawyer responded that no such behavior had taken place, and that Giorgos Mazonakis’ sole interest at that meeting was hypnotherapy.
According to Star’s reporting, the hypnotherapist was not the only external associate linked to the doctors currently in pre-trial detention. Before their incarceration at Korydallos prison, the doctors had entered into contracts with professionals across a wide range of specialties — from nutritionists, psychologists, and massage therapists to a specialist who performed bee-sting therapy.
What those close to Nasos Komianós are saying
Those in the hypnotherapist’s inner circle maintain that Nasos Komianós was not on friendly terms with the detained doctors, was not close friends with them, and had no personal relationship with them. According to their account, there had been only a single three-day seminar, governed by a contract with specific terms. Nasos Komianós himself, in a statement to Alpha TV, said: “I have nothing to say to you. I’ve told everything to the examining magistrate. You have presented all of this with gross inaccuracy.”
