Rena Dourou, the newly elected leader of SYRIZA‘s parliamentary group, is wasting no time settling into her new role, as she is set to make her first parliamentary appearance this week in her new capacity.
All signs point to Wednesday marking her official debut, when the full plenary session of the Greek Parliament will debate the ratification of a concession agreement granting the rights to administer, manage, operate, develop, expand, maintain and exploit the Kalamata International Airport “Kapetan Vasilis Konstantakopoulos.”
Additionally, over the two-day period of the 23rd and 24th, Dourou will make her first appearance at party leaders’ level, as discussions on the Constitutional Revision are scheduled to take place. Furthermore, on Friday evening, she will join the other party leaders at the Presidential Mansion pavilion as part of the celebrations marking 52 years since the restoration of democracy in Greece.
