CrediaBank and the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki are building a bridge between science, production, and financing, with a focus on agri-food, innovation, and sustainable development. The memorandum of understanding signed by both parties opens a new channel connecting bank financing, scientific research, and the agricultural economy, with the goal of supporting innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable growth in the primary sector. The agreement provides for a broad framework of joint initiatives, at the core of which are the development of research projects and studies, scientific advisory services, and the transfer of expertise to the production sector — particularly in areas related to agricultural economics and agri-food.
In addition, the MoU includes educational programs and specialized seminars for CrediaBank executives, while placing a strong emphasis on the next generation of scientists, offering opportunities for internships, participation in undergraduate thesis and doctoral research projects, as well as the awarding of scholarships, prizes, and sponsorships. The memorandum has a two-year duration with the possibility of extension, while specific actions will be defined through more detailed agreements. Of particular significance is the possibility of joint participation by the bank and AUTH in national and European programs, creating additional funding and development opportunities.
