Europe’s biggest football stars are heading to the Novasports arena! All 54 European national teams are diving into the UEFA Nations League 2026-2027 group stage, battling for a spot in the Finals (July 9-13, 2027) and a coveted ticket to Euro 2028.
Greece’s historic first appearance in League A
For the first time in the tournament’s history, the Greek national team is competing in the top tier — League A, Group 2 — and will face off against some of Europe’s powerhouses: Germany, the Netherlands, and Serbia.
- Matchday 1: Thursday, September 24 (21:45) — away vs. Serbia in Belgrade.
- Matchday 2: Sunday, September 27 (21:45) — away vs. Germany in Augsburg.
- Matchdays 3 & 4 (Home): vs. Netherlands (Oct 1, 21:45) and vs. Germany (Oct 4, 21:45).
How the competition works
The top two teams in each League A group advance to the quarterfinals in March 2027, competing for a place in the Finals. The 4th-placed team is relegated to League B, while the 3rd-placed team plays a relegation playoff against the runner-up from League B. Thanks to the expanded autumn international window, the first four matchdays will be played back-to-back from September 24 to October 6.
