According to Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin “is willing” to take part in a meeting aimed at ending the war. He also noted that Ukrainian strikes deep inside Russian territory — particularly targeting the country’s oil refining facilities — represent a “serious blow” to Russia, while also having a significant impact on diesel prices.

“Putin is open to a meeting to end the war,” Trump stated. The American president also referenced Ukraine’s recent strikes deep within Russian territory, particularly against oil refining installations, describing them as a serious blow to the country and highlighting their impact on diesel fuel prices.
“The strikes inside Russia, on its refining capabilities, are a serious blow to the Russians and are having a significant impact on diesel prices,” Trump said.
