Black Friday 2026 falls on Friday, November 27, and travelers planning trips for 2027 are already anticipating flight deals from Aegean Airlines and SKY Express. Neither airline has yet announced the full terms of this year’s campaigns, but their 2025 promotions suggest that the last week of November is when the most significant discounts are expected to appear.

Black Friday 2026: When to expect airline deals
This year, Black Friday lands on November 27, followed by Cyber Monday on November 30. Based on the approach both airlines took in 2025, the first major offers are likely to appear as early as Wednesday, November 25. SKY Express launched its campaign ahead of the official Black Friday date last year, so a probable window for this year’s promotion runs from November 25 to November 30. For Aegean, the key date is expected to be Black Friday itself — November 27 — as that was when the deepest discounts were activated in 2025.
For now, however, neither the discount percentages nor the available destinations and travel dates have been announced. Any reference to discounts of up to 70% for 2026 is therefore an estimate based on last year’s campaigns, not a confirmed offer for this year.
What Aegean did in 2025
Aegean launched its Black Friday Sales Festival on November 28, 2025, offering its biggest discount on Black Friday itself. The initial discount reached up to 70% on flights across its network, then decreased gradually over the following days. By November 29, the maximum discount had dropped to 60%, while on November 30 and December 1 it stood at up to 50%.
The discount scale also varied depending on the travel date. On the final day of the campaign, a 50% discount applied to flights from January 12 through February 19, 2026; 40% off covered travel from February 20 through March 27; and 30% off applied to the period from March 28 through October 24. Flights on subsidized routes and Business class fares received a 20% discount.
The promotion covered one-way and return tickets on Aegean and Olympic Air flights, both domestic and international. The discount applied to the base fare only — not to taxes and fees — and codeshare flights were excluded. Travelers aged 18 to 25 could take advantage of an additional 15% discount through the genAIRation AEGEAN program. Meanwhile, Miles+Bonus members had access to a separate offer featuring 17% fewer miles required via Miles+Cash for bookings made between November 27 and December 2, 2025.
SKY Express started early
SKY Express kicked off its “Magic Black Friday” campaign on Wednesday, November 26 — two days before Black Friday — with the promotion running through Monday, December 1. Discounts reached up to 70% on destinations across Greece and abroad, covering both Economy and Business fares. Bookings applied to travel between January 10 and October 20, 2026, with the offer valid on a limited number of seats.
The campaign included popular Greek destinations such as Thessaloniki, Crete, Corfu, Rhodes, Mykonos, and Santorini, as well as major European cities including London, Paris, Rome, Vienna, Amsterdam, Istanbul, and Brussels. Berlin, Lisbon, Madrid, Hamburg, and Lyon were also part of the network. For those waiting on this year’s deals, the key window to watch is the last week of November. The actual discount rates and terms for 2026, however, will only be confirmed once both airlines officially announce their campaigns.
