A 12-year-old girl was shot by German police and is now hospitalized in critical condition. The child had previously attacked officers with two knives inside her home after not hearing them enter. According to BILD, the girl had been missing since yesterday (16/11) from her home in Bochum and was reported missing by her family, with the note that she urgently needed medication as she is sick and deaf.
During the search, it was discovered that the child was staying with her mother, who is also deaf and had lost custody of her.
Police arrived at the woman’s house in the early morning hours and opened the front door with a locksmith, as the occupants were not answering.
