Kimberly Guilfoyle paid a visit to the Ministry of National Defense and Nikos Dendias, following her meeting with Archbishop Ieronymos on the morning of Thursday, November 13th. The ambassador and the minister discussed the close defense cooperation between the US and Greece, with her posting on X to provide more details about their dialogue.
Specifically, the US ambassador, after meeting with Archbishop Ieronymos at the Archdiocese of Athens, proceeded in the afternoon to the Ministry of National Defense where she sat on the couch with Nikos Dendias for a constructive discussion. She characteristically told him: “Get used to seeing me often,” showing her intentions for beautiful cooperation between the countries.

In her X post, Kimberly Guilfoyle wrote in detail: “Today I officially met with Defense Minister Nikos Dendias for the first time at the Ministry of National Defense, where we discussed our robust defense partnership, which I’m committed to strengthening during my tenure. As one of my first steps as Ambassador, I am proud to announce that Secretary of War Peter Hegseth has approved Greece’s inclusion in the United States Partnership Program.
The new agreement will expand cooperation with one of our oldest allies. It will not only provide access to new military capabilities and joint training, but will also help us deepen our relations in the areas of government, business, education and others, taking US-Greece cooperation to new heights.
