Patras: Three minors beat the 15-year-old
The 15-year-old middle school student from Patras was rushed bloodied to Karamandaneio Children’s Hospital. The blows he had received to his face were serious and it was deemed necessary to transfer him to “Aglaia Kyriakou” Hospital for surgical intervention. The perpetrators were three minors: two 15-year-old Patras residents and one 16-year-old (foreign national from Albania), who were identified and immediately arrested by Patras Security police. According to local website tempo24.news, one of the three perpetrators attended the same middle school as the victim, who – according to information from his school environment – had been a victim of bullying in the past. The other two minors attended different school complexes, and Patras Security is investigating whether they had previous issues with the 15-year-old.
The three minors are being held to be brought before the prosecutor today, as charges have been filed against them for bodily harm against a vulnerable person. At the same time, Security proceeded to arrest one parent for neglect of minor supervision and are searching for the parents of the other two minors who exhibited the delinquent behavior.
