Videos circulating on social media show the man shouting inside the cabin words like “bomb,” “death to America, death to Trump,” and “Allahu Akbar,” an Arabic phrase meaning “God is great.” Immediately, two men restrained him, throwing him to the aircraft floor.

According to Sky News, police announced that the man remains in custody, while investigations into the incident continue. A spokesperson for Police Scotland stated: “At present we believe the incident was contained to the individual who was arrested and no others are involved. We are aware of videos in circulation and these are being examined by counter-terrorism officers.”
An EasyJet spokesperson said: “Flight EZY609 from Luton to Glasgow yesterday was met by police on arrival as it was necessary to remove a passenger due to their behavior. Our crew are trained to assess each situation and act quickly and appropriately to ensure the safety of the flight and passengers. The safety and wellbeing of our customers and crew is always the company’s highest priority.”
