The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated on Wednesday (1/4) that the Strait of Hormuz “will not open to the enemies of this nation with ridiculous intimidation stunts.” This message is considered Iran’s response to US President Donald Trump.
Iran: The Strait of Hormuz is under naval control
“We would also like to remind the noble and historic nation of Islamic Iran that the situation in the Strait of Hormuz remains stable and fully under the control of the Revolutionary Guard Navy,” the statement said.
It should be noted that earlier, Donald Trump stated that Iran had requested a ceasefire in the war, with the US considering the request “when the Strait of Hormuz is open, free and secure.”
