Donald Trump has launched a new fierce attack against European countries over fuel shortages they face due to the crisis in the Strait of Hormuz. In a post on Truth Social, he called on these countries to take responsibility “on their own” for their energy security, arguing that they cannot continuously rely on the United States.
He made particular reference to the United Kingdom, which, as the US president claimed, refused to participate in American operations against Iran that is keeping the Strait of Hormuz closed.
Trump dropped hints about lack of support for the US, emphasizing that under these conditions, allied countries should develop greater autonomy and decisiveness in dealing with crises and not rely on US backing.
Trump’s detailed posts
“All those countries that can’t get jet fuel because of the Strait of Hormuz, like the United Kingdom, which refused to get involved in the decapitation of Iran, I have a suggestion for you:
First, buy from the US, we have plenty.
And second, find some belated courage, go to the Straits and just TAKE it.
You should start learning to fight for yourselves, the US will no longer be there to help you, just as you weren’t there for us.
Iran has been essentially decimated. The hard work has already been done. Go get your own oil!
President DJT”.

In a more recent post, the American president also launched attacks against France, which he said did not allow aircraft heading to Israel, loaded with military supplies, to fly through its airspace, threatening that the US would remember this.
“France wouldn’t let planes headed to Israel, loaded up with military supplies, fly over French territory.
France has been VERY UNHELPFUL with respect to the ‘Butcher of Iran,’ who has been successfully eliminated!
The U.S.A. will REMEMBER!!!” Donald Trump states in his Truth Social post.

It should be noted that this is not the first time Donald Trump has verbally attacked his allies, as he had done with NATO, while he has also expressed his disappointment with the stance of the United Kingdom and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
