Oman: At least three tanks engulfed in flames
At least three fuel tanks were engulfed in flames, with thick smoke covering a large part of the port, while there are estimates that other facilities may have also been damaged. It should be noted that just a few days earlier, there was another attempted attack targeting the port of Duqm in Oman. The country has played a mediating role in the past between Iran and the United States, hosting indirect talks and conveying messages regarding Tehran’s nuclear program.
The attack on a country that has traditionally served as a communication channel between the two sides is considered by analysts to be a particularly unusual development.
