Two men were transported to the hospital following a knife attack they suffered, likely motivated by football fan rivalries, on Saturday evening, February 7th in Galatsi. According to parapolitika.gr reporting, the victims sustained at least wounds from a sharp object when they were attacked on a main street in the area. The perpetrators allegedly kept asking them “what team are you?” before attacking them. Police were notified by local residents as well as the ambulance service which transported the injured to “Evangelismos” hospital. The circumstances of the attack are being investigated by the local police department.
