Taxi drivers are proceeding with a new strike action on Thursday, planning another vehicle convoy heading to the Prime Minister’s office. The taxis will gather at 10 AM Thursday at the offices of the Attica Taxi Drivers Union (SATA) on Marni Street, and from there they will begin their convoy and attempt to approach the Prime Minister’s residence.
On Wednesday morning, taxis gathered at the intersection of Athens and Spyrou Patsi streets and through Metaxourgeio, Alexandra, and Mesogeion avenues, arrived at the Ministry of Transport.
There, SATA president Thymios Lyberopoulos emphasized that “we will take this fight to the end,” no matter “how much they try to divide us.”
