On TikTok, an American named sixyouellos uploaded this video to share with his followers his experience with the Greek national health system. His little girl had a minor accident in Chalcis (we wish her a speedy recovery) and he took this opportunity to compare the two systems – USA/Greece. I have said many times that we criticize our health system all day long but we don’t realize how generous it is with all of us. Both with the insured and the uninsured. We have many problems, but we maintain a functional and completely free healthcare system.
We should appreciate what our country does for us and not undervalue it every day thinking that everything is perfect elsewhere. The national health system is doing well and getting better every day.
