Several roads in central Athens will close due to roadworks, with authorities implementing traffic restrictions. Specifically, on Thursday (27/11) and Friday (28/11), brief and gradual traffic disruptions will take place from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM.
Which roads are closing
The brief and gradual traffic disruptions will occur:
- On the right lane of Syngrou Avenue and subsequently
- On Vasilissis Amalias Avenue in the section from Athanasios Diakos Street to Vasilissis Olgas Avenue, in the traffic flow towards Syntagma
During these roadworks, vehicle traffic will be directed through the remaining width of the roadway. Police ask drivers to be particularly careful when passing through work zones and to follow existing road signage.
