Donald Trump issued a new stern warning to Iran via a post on Truth Social, confirming that United States forces have launched large-scale strikes against Iranian targets near the Strait of Hormuz. In his message, the US president described the operation as delivering “large and powerful” blows to the region, framing the strikes as a direct response to recent actions by Tehran.
Trump: The US attack on Iran is “absolutely justified”
According to Trump, the American strike is retaliation for Iran’s “failed attempt” to lay sea mines in the Strait of Hormuz. He stated that the mines placed in the area have since been “fully removed or neutralized,” emphasizing that the Strait remains mine-free. Trump also referenced an Iranian missile attack on a US military base in Jordan. According to his post, Iran launched eight missiles at the base, all of which, he claimed, were successfully intercepted. The US president characterized the American military operation as an “absolutely justified attack” and warned Tehran that any attempt at retaliation would trigger an even harder American response. “If the failing nation of Iran retaliates for this fully justified attack, it will be hit again at a much harder and higher level“, Trump wrote.
At the same time, he implied that today’s strikes do not represent the most powerful military action Washington is capable of. “However, it will not be the biggest attack of all. That one remains in the wings,” Trump noted, strongly suggesting that an even more powerful US strike is ready to be deployed. The American president closed his post with an especially stark warning about the consequences of any further Iranian retaliation. “And when it is completed, there will be very little left of the Islamic Republic of Iran!” he wrote.

“The United States, as we speak, is hitting Iranian targets near the Strait of Hormuz. The strikes are large scale and powerful, and are in retaliation for the failed attempt by the Iranians to place sea mines in the Strait, which currently has no mines (they have been fully removed or neutralized!), and for the firing of eight missiles by the Iranians at our military base in Jordan, all of which were successfully intercepted.
If the failing nation of Iran retaliates for this fully justified attack, it will be hit again, at a much larger and more powerful scale. However, this will not be the biggest attack of all — that one waits in the wings, and when it is completed, there will be very little left of the Islamic Republic of Iran!
President DONALD J. TRUMP“.
Warning issued for Americans in the Middle East
As the conflict in the Middle East escalates once again, the US State Department issued a security alert urging American citizens in the region to “exercise heightened vigilance and be aware of potential flight cancellations, airspace closures, and travel disruptions.” US embassies in Israel, Qatar, and Jordan called on American citizens to remain at the “highest level of alert,” noting that “due to tensions in the Middle East, the security environment remains complex with the potential for unforeseen escalation.”
