PASOK MP Manolis Christodoulakis has strongly rejected claims published by “Kyriakátiki Estía”, which alleged that a secret dinner took place at a businessman’s home, attended by Foreign Minister Giorgos Gerapetritis, Anna Diamantopoulou, and Christodoulakis himself — during which coalition government scenarios were reportedly discussed.

Manolis Christodoulakis: “Political change is not the product of slander and artificial intelligence”
In an exclusive statement to parapolitika.gr, Christodoulakis categorically denied the allegations, declaring that “political change is not the product of slander and artificial intelligence.” He stressed that “where political debate ends, the deliberate distortion of reality begins,” pointing to the fabrication of non-existent events, the circulation of baseless false claims, and the use of AI-generated images — all deployed, he argued, to prop up a completely fictitious narrative.
He further warned that when such practices are adopted by historically established media outlets, the damage extends far beyond the reputations of those targeted — striking at the very credibility of journalism and democracy itself. The PASOK MP also argued that there are efforts to make his party “prey to the clashing rocks of parallel interests,” which he says serve to perpetuate political stagnation in Greece. “Those seeking pardons and absolution should look elsewhere,” he said pointedly.
Closing his statement, Christodoulakis emphasized that “we do not play games with the truth, with ethics, or above all with the prospect of political change in this country — a change that only PASOK can guarantee.”

Political change is not the product of slander and artificial intelligence!
Where political debate ends, the deliberate distortion of reality begins. Fabricating non-existent events, spreading false claims without a shred of evidence, and using AI-generated images to support a fictitious narrative is not journalism. It is a mechanism of political manipulation.
When these practices are adopted by historically reputable outlets such as the newspaper “Estía,” the damage is not limited to the individuals being targeted — it strikes at the very credibility of the press and of democracy itself.
Each of us is a fleeting presence on our brief political journey. What is not acceptable is for PASOK to be made prey to the clashing rocks of parallel interests that ultimately advocate for the perpetuation of political stagnation in this country.
Those seeking pardons and absolution should look elsewhere.
We do not play games with the truth, with ethics, or above all with the prospect of political change in this country — a change that only PASOK can guarantee!
