Tourism for All 2026–2027: The key new changes
“The figures reflect how beneficiaries have responded to the Ministry of Tourism’s strategic goal of extending the tourist season and boosting activity during the months between October and April.
It is worth noting that the new cycle of the program introduces several important changes, including:
– an expansion of the income eligibility criteria,
– the removal of income restrictions for people with disabilities,
– additional support for large families with more than 4 children, with €50 per dependent child, and
– the allocation of 70% of resources to the low tourist season.
The program serves as an important tool for regional development with a strong social dimension.
It simultaneously supports domestic tourism, small and medium-sized enterprises, employment, and local economies across the entire country.
Directing resources toward periods and regions with lower tourist activity strengthens business sustainability and contributes to balanced tourism development.
The conclusion of the application process marks the next stage of the program’s implementation: the draw for eligible beneficiaries. The goal is to complete all required procedures promptly, so that the digital, contactless cards can be activated by early September.”
