A total of €2,483,783,697.78 will be disbursed to 4,325,802 beneficiaries between August 24 and August 28, 2026, as part of the scheduled payments by e-EFKA and the Public Employment Service (DYPA).
Specifically, according to the official announcement:
From e-EFKA:
– On August 26, €1,319,958,516.21 will be paid to 2,628,753 beneficiaries for the disbursement of primary and supplementary pensions for the month of September 2026.
– On August 28, €1,113,745,181.57 will be paid to 1,652,849 beneficiaries for the disbursement of primary and supplementary pensions for the month of September 2026.
– From August 24 through August 28, €17,500,000 will be paid to 800 beneficiaries following the issuance of decisions regarding lump-sum severance payments.
From DYPA, the following payments will be made:
– €17,000,000 to 28,000 beneficiaries for unemployment benefits and other allowances.
– €1,500,000 to 2,200 mothers for subsidized maternity leave.
– €14,000,000 to 13,000 beneficiaries under subsidized employment programs.
– €80,000 to 200 beneficiaries of community service programs.
