New Democracy remains firmly in first place, with Alexis Tsipras’s EL.AS. emerging as the second party, according to the Marc poll presented on ANT1’s main evening news bulletin. According to the data, PASOK and Maria Karystianou’s Elpida for Democracy are locked in a tight battle for third place.
Marc poll: ND at 30.5%, EL.AS. at 16.5% — PASOK and Elpida clash for third
In the projected electoral result, New Democracy stands at 30.5% and EL.AS. at 16.5%, with PASOK and Elpida for Democracy both polling at 10.5%. Fifth place goes to Greek Solution (7%), ahead of KKE (6.5%) and Pleusi Eleftherias (5.3%). SYRIZA, meanwhile, registers just 1.2%.



In voting intention, New Democracy gathers 26.8%, virtually unchanged from the Marc poll of June 4th (26.7%). EL.AS. edges up from 14% to 14.3%, holding onto second place. The race for third continues to be a dead heat, with PASOK at 9.2% (up from 9.1%) and Elpida for Democracy at 9.2% (down from 9.5%). They are followed by Greek Solution at 6.1% (up from 5.8%), KKE at 5.9% (down from 6.1%), and Pleusi Eleftherias at 4.6% (down from 4.7%), while SYRIZA sits at just 1.1%.
Who is the most suitable prime minister?
Kyriakos Mitsotakis is rated the most suitable candidate for prime minister at 30.2%. Alexis Tsipras now moves into second place at 15.6%, while Maria Karystianou makes a notable impression with 7.8% in third, followed by Nikos Androulakis at 5.4%.
Citizens’ everyday concerns
When it comes to the problems Greeks face in their daily lives, the cost of living and inflation once again top the list, cited by 73.8% of respondents. The second biggest concern is wages and pensions at 39.4%, followed by public safety at 31.4%.
