Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met today with the leader of the Conservative Party and official opposition leader of the United Kingdom, Kemi Badenoch. During the meeting, the two leaders reviewed the close bilateral relations between Greece and the United Kingdom, with discussions focusing on energy issues as well as European cooperation on migration.

Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Kemi Badenoch also exchanged views on international and regional developments, with particular emphasis on the evolving situation in the Middle East.
For her part, the leader of the British Conservatives congratulated the Greek government on the progress of its reform agenda. She noted that the reforms have contributed to strengthening growth in the Greek economy, while also achieving a reduction in public debt.
