A road accident that occurred in the early morning hours of Wednesday at the junction of Mesogeion Avenue and Iroon Polytechniou Street had a tragic outcome.
According to initial reports, a car driven by a 29-year-old Greek national collided, under circumstances that are still being investigated, with another vehicle.
A 20-year-old Greek national was seriously injured in the violent collision and was rushed to the Red Cross Hospital. Despite the efforts of doctors, the young man succumbed to his injuries.
