Oil prices are declining despite new US strikes on Iran, as WTI crude oil continues to drop. Specifically, the price of West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil, the US benchmark variety, was down more than 5% in Tokyo trading sessions, despite news that US armed forces carried out new airstrikes in southern Iran.
Around 03:30 (Greek time), WTI crude was trading 5.46% lower at $91.33 per barrel, shortly after the US military announcement.
