Sunday, May 3rd is the deadline for social tourism 2026, as until tomorrow beneficiaries of the new DYPA program can submit applications, following the extension that was granted. Specifically, the deadline expires on Sunday 03.05.2026 at 23:59 and interest is already heightened, as applications have exceeded 350,000. At the same time, the deadline for providers expires in a few days.
Social tourism: Applications “end” on Sunday
Social tourism applications are submitted through gov.gr and beneficiaries include employed and unemployed individuals who want to participate in the 2026-2027 program. The program provides social tourism vouchers, which allow beneficiaries to take vacations at tourist accommodations participating in the Provider Registry. Additionally, ferry companies participate to cover part of the transportation costs where provided by the program terms.
It’s important for beneficiaries to complete their application correctly within the deadline. After the platform closes, application processing follows, along with posting provisional lists and, where applicable, the appeals process. Therefore, those interested should monitor the subsequent stages.
Due to high participation, it’s advisable for beneficiaries, after results are published, to act quickly, especially if they want to find availability in popular destinations or during high-demand periods.
Provider deadline also approaching
There’s a separate deadline for businesses wanting to join the program, which also expires in May. Tourist accommodations and ferry companies can submit participation applications until 10.05.2026. Finally, providers who participated in the previous program are automatically included, provided they update their documentation.
